hey, on a real note, i think it's derived from a CS:GO video where a guy pretends to be a Ugandan warlord and someone asks him to say "Follow me, I know the way" and he does it, saying "follo me, i kno de wey".

You don't need a VR headset to play VR chat.

its actually pretty fun

so first it started as the knuckles "oh no" webm from that one animation.

then it got turned into that knuckles from the animation that is short and chubby singing

which then in turn changed into him singing "suicide is painless" the MASH theme song (which from what i'm told is a FJ original meme)

then someone went into VR chat with the knuckles model and had that song playing in the background about suicide

and then more people got the knuckles model and then i think Gastonz? started the whole accent and mod schtick.

i'm not sure about the spelling but he is the commander.

godspeed mah brudda

I believe the Ugandan part comes from the first ever Ugandan Action movie called "Who killed captain Alex?" where a VJ (sort of a commentator) commentates on the video, saying "He know the way of using a gun" as well as mentioning Uganda often.

It's a reference to the "African Rebel terrifies people in COD3" series, where a dude does a really good african accent, as well as mention voodoo and the devil, and "follow me I know the way".

When he gets the kid to apologize in absolute terror is the most beautiful thing I ever heard. How does he know the names?
